I have an MF 35 and the front loader won't raise. The rectangular hydraulic fluid box by the 3 point control lever was empty and I filled it after fixing a hose leak. The rear hydraulics and PTO raises. Could it just be air in a line or something else? I also have a front mounted hydraulic pump behind the front screen on the tractor could it be that it is not working?

How about the snap couplers? Could you have left
one not completely coupled. Chuck

Hello,
Is the pump fed by gravity? Is the tank level higher than the Pump inlet. If so, slacken the inlet hose at the pump and check for oil going to the pump. Make sure that you have not left a piece of paper or rag in the line. If you have oil entering the pump, slacken or remove the outlet hose to check that oil is being passed through. As long as oil is being moved through the pump the system should vent itself. Make sure that there is no blockage/restriction/filter on the supply side of the tank.
