What does the tractor SN prefix "TGF" on a Ferguson Grey Pony tractor designate? Are these codes different on the M-H Red Pony? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had two gray ponys. Neither had TGF. Both had PGA prefixes.

You are correct. I had incorrectly stated the letters in my earlier post. Do you know what the three letters represent? For example, the later MHF tractors, such as the 35, used prefixes such as "SGM" where "S" meant standard chassis,"G" meant it had a gasoline engine, and "M" indicated the tractor had a two-stage clutch.

PGS meant standard axle, and PGA meant adjustable axle. The P and G could have meant Pony and Gas but that is a guess.
