I have a 1958-59 4 cyl fe 35 diesel and it's decided to show some need for repair.

I have read several posts about checking the injector pump timing after locking the flywheel in #1's TDC by putting a 1/4 drill through a hole in the flywheel housing.. sounds great and I'd like to do that...BUT I can't find a hole in mine.

Can someone give me directions... really good ones incase it's painted over.. or better yet maybee a picture.. I have also emailed Big Dean.

Out of timing on Ontario, Big Steve

But thanks again anyway

I found the hole.. it had been sealed off with silicone and painted over by a previous owner.

Thank god paint dosen't stick to silicone all that well or I might never have found it...

Now to price rings & glow plugs...OH JOY,

Steven Y
