Thanks for the beer advise Mr. Allen and Mr. Supergrumpy. Even though it is still bourbon season in KY I will make an exception for the benefit of a Massey Ferguson. If it helps just one the effort will not be worth it all. I promise to do my share to the best of my ability. Before I do what you recommend- The left tie rod end connected to the arm from the steering box is showing about 1" of threads. The left tie rod end connected to the kingpin is screwed all way in. Both right side tie rod ends are screwed all the way in. The right tie rod tube has a slight bend. Measuring from tie rod shaft to tie rod shaft the left is app. 1" longer than the right (the same amount the left tie rod end is screwed out). Has this been messed with? Should I string from the back wheels to get the front wheels parallel with the rears then worry about the toe in? It has adjustable rear wheels and they are not exactly true. Is that a problem if I do need to string? How are these set up at the factory? Do the tie rods need to be different length since the steering arms from the steering box are at different heights? Thanks, Greg
