Muffler for MF180

Wife just inherited a MF 180. Seems to be in good shape, but will need a new muffler. Brother-in-law says they list two different mufflers. Which is which, and what's the difference?? If I have my choice, quiet is appreciated!

I'd reccomend the oval muffler that is listed for a 275. I put one on my 180D and it is much quietier!! Shoup has them, MF38 for $78.15 800-627-6137 Good luck with your 180, they are great tractors!!

Thanks for the suggestion. Got one other problem, going to have to put muffler a little lower, to clear the garage door. Think I can cut off a couple inches off inlet, and still clamp it successfully. Other problem, is that I grew up green. Man does this tractor clash with my built in color scheme! Guess I'll have to get over it. Have put a number of hours on it for dad-in-law, when he was still farming, and it is a pretty good tractor.
