165 remote

i have a 165 with a valve for a remote on the left side sorta under the seat. i dont see a handle to operate it does it work somehow with the quadrant lever or do i need to look a little closer for the handle thanks RICK

You said the valve is on the left side. I assume that is when you are facing forward. Is the valve mounted to a plate that is attached under the seat? If so, there should be a shaft crossing under the seat with the lever(s) on the right side near the 3ph controls.

yes bob you are right after looking a little deeper i found it today when i got home from work.now maybe you can answer another question for me.my post driver has its own valve on it so what position would i have the quadrant lever in would it be constant pumping and also when i run the haybine what position would it be in the same as the driver? thanks RICK

If you have the type of remote valve I am thinking of, the quadrant lever (3ph) has nothing to do with the remote hydraulics. The 3ph works off from the main pump and the remotes run off from the auxillary pump.
