I have a million questions about my 202 but I will only ask a few of them here.

How do I tell what year my tractor is?

I have seen a couple pictures of 202s online and one showed a side view of the tractor and there is no hood to speak of in the picture. Mine had no hood when I aquired it and I always assumed that it had been lost and now I am wondering if this model did not have a hood. Can anyone help me with this.

I will be rebuilding the engine soon and I wonder if anyone has tips on removing the old cylinder sleeves. I am on a budget and every time I have to outsource it gets expensive.

Thanks

I have a 1961 MF 205. MF made the 202 203 204 205, all were called Work Bulls. Made 1959 to 1964 plus or minus. They were all yellow and you could add a FEL and a quick release (30 min) backhoe attachment. MF 202 and 204 were gas, 203 and 205 diesel The 202 and 204 were standard transmission. The 203 and 205 were instant reverse transmission (no clutch. Welcome fellow Work Bull owner.

They did have a hood.

Rebuild: is yours a diesel? or gas? I have pictures of a puller we made for the Perkins 152 and 203 diesel.
