Massey 98 serial number???

I am looking at a 98 massey. The serial number is 87 570-943, Their is another number on the tag it is 39-4205. Thanks in advance

They also kept the Oliver serial numbers. 87 540 is the serial number. 943 is the code for the gear train. 39 40205 is the spec number. For a small fee you can find out from the museum in Charles City where the tractor was shipped, how it was equipped and when it was build. 87 540 is a spring of 1960 built tractor. J.

Massey 98 is really and Oliver 990 in Massey clothes. What info were you looking for? Year Model etc?
