Hello, i`m having trouble with the hydralic PTO clutch, it would not stay engeged at engine rpm above 1800, even the multipower shifts to "low" sometimes. I renewed the clutch discs and pressure plates in the PTO clutch two weeks ago since they were worn out, but after taking a closer look since this was not all of my problems i can now see that im loosing pressure at the iPTO test outlet due to air sucking into the system at high rpm. At idle and up to 1800 rpm the pressure is 20kg/cm2, but above it starts to vary and at max rpm i have almost np pressure in the low pressure circuit. The oilflow from the aux pump main section also has air in it since it shares the same suction line and filter. So now to my question: Do someone know if it is a common fault that air could suck in to the aux pump through axes or somewhere else in the pump? Anyone experienced bad O-ring seal where the suction filter pipe enters the aux pump? Any other ideas where i get air in the oil. I have tried with oil levels up to 15 lites above stated max-level.

Thomas,

This strange that two Tom's have a problem with IPTO at the same time. I hope we both can resolve our problems with the help of this board!

Can you tell me your pressure results in PSI? I don't know how to convert it?
