I have a 63 MF 50 which has been a good tractor with a very good engine. It used to have a loader plumbed in to an isolator valve just back of the gear shifter, but I got rid of the loader because the rear hydraulics on this tractor would barely lift it's own weight on the loader. My question is how to easily fix a leak on that isolator valve? It slightly leaks when one is working with the tractor. Now I know the best thing would be to find a cover to replace that isolator assembly. I tried a gasket and new o-ring but that didn't work. Any ideas. Thanks.

Matt: The original cover for where the valve is only uses the o rings on the stand pipe that supplies the oil and under the cover, no gasket. The gasket may be keeping the valve from pulling down tight on the o ring. Hope this helps you. Don Snyder
