Hey guys. I am thinking about redoing a MF 25 Disc. Just wondering where to get bearings and decals. MF Dealer? Other Sources? Agco website wasnt very helpful, and this is the only experience with MF I have. Saw MF Poor did a great job on his.

Thanks,
Joel

Just ordered the M22 spool and M20 box and M21 box (has grease zerk) for Agri Supply. My AB022 spacing is 6 1/2" with a 7/8" square axle. I"ll have to bolt a plate to match up with the offset the original box had as these boxes acutally mount in the center of the spool. Hope this helps

OK, I've probably got more info than you want to hear. There's part #'s galore on the #25.

First, there's 2 different bearing designs. For simplicity, we'll call one the "old" and the other "new".

OLD is identified by the scraper bar being a piece of narrow channel. NEW is identified by that bar being a heavier piece of angle iron. MOST are NEW.

NEW parts; TOP bearing shell, 663 843 M1. Spool, 663 844 M1. Bottom bearing shell, 663 845 M1. MF triple triangle decal (same on both NEW and OLD) 196 363 M1. Massey Ferguson emblem on rear of frame, 196 354 M1.

OLD parts; TOP bearing shell, 662 046 M2. Spool, 663 447 M1. Bottom bearing shell, 662 047 M1. Massey-Ferguson decal on rear of frame, 196 335 M1

Scrapers; (same on NEW and OLD) Left regular, 662 014 M2. Right regular, 662 013 M2. Left end, 662 012 M2. Right end, 662 011 M2.

I found the decals on EBAY, but they're available through MF/AGCO. Bearings on mine were in really good shape, so no need for new. A friend just rebuilt his #25 and used the "generic" boxings (iron bearings) from Agri-Supply and they fit just fine. He got the outer shell and the inner spool as a set.

MF POOR- You say your friend rebuilt the Model 25 with boxings parts from AgriSupply? Was this recently? I contacted them about 2 years ago and they said no good for MF. I believe the spools and spacers on the 25 are 6-1/2" wide. Also, the top bearing half has to have 2 holes which line up with the frame and hold the square-headed bolts on the inside. The axles are 7/8", correct?

Here is the link to AgriSupply parts, the page is big it takes a while to load. I see a lot of Dearborn/Ford but no MF. If you could find out what worked for your friend I would much appreciate it. Maybe the Ford parts will work on the MF? Thanks.

I've got a parts manual on the #25. If you need MF part #'s on the boxings, let me know. Also, the decals have part#'s too if you want to order through MF. Fair warning though, decals through AGCO are NOT cheap.
