Hi all, been looking for a larger tractor and came across a massey 2775. i'm wanting something for my mower and baler, which this tractor is actually pretty big for, but, all my equipment is 540 pto rpm and i see this tractor is 1000. can this be changed to 540? how good is this series of tractor, or should i just keep looking.

Hi,guessing that your mower is a dick mower,100 hp will be plenty,maybe a 2705,or 3505 if you want somthing that age in a Massey.If you don't need the horsepower,it will save alot of fuel.Even those models are pretty thirsty,can only assume a 2775 will burn alot more.pd

You better keep looking! A 2775 will not except a 540 shaft unless the previous owner spent some money on some gears to make it except a 540 shaft.
