44 Special-Need Help

Does anyone have any experience with part no. 766 053M1(Reverse Idler Gear Shaft Plug) Looks like engine freeze plug(parts book says 2 1/4 in. expansion, Copper). It is under drive shaft on front of transmission housing. Mine looks like it might have a very small oil leak but am checking to see if anyone has replaced one before I mess it up taking it out. Tractor is apart and trying to replace all the seals and gaskets I can before it gets painted. Thanks

napa or somebody could get that plug if you have correct size.

Consider cleaning up real good and repair it with JB Weld.
