Will the steering from a MH 30 fit on a 33. The steering on my 33 is very bad as in a full turn to get it to even start to turn the front wheels. I have a 30 parts tractor with a good tight steering box but it has a broken spindle so I want to either change the spindles or take the 2 and make one good one.
Thanks

According to my parts book,,,,, ,,the 30 and the 33 take the same steering gear box. . As for the front spindle support (casting) the 30 casting will fit an early (prior 2742)33 but not later (2742 up)! The 30 and 33 show different spindles, would think if you have the pre 2742 33 you could swap the complete castings with spindles! Hope this helps ya out.

Well I ended up taking the steering box that holds the worm gear off the 30 and it bolted right down in place of the wore out one on the 33. Both bearings in the 33s box where gone but the ones in the 30 box was good. 4 bolts and the steering rod and it was off and back on

Don't be discouraged. There are a lot of good MH people on this site. Perhaps one of them will be kind enough to help you out.

If I had one I would but I don't. I don't have a manual either so I'm just winging this one. But I did find out that they are pretty much the same since to main part of the steering box is now on the 33
