Well she's finally finished. New front rims and tires just went on. It'll be hard to put her back to work next month.

Looks like a true work of art and you should be proud while I am truely jealous! On a note of curiosity, why the choice of multi-ribbed front over the 3-rib variety?

Hi Rick,

The tractor is now used only for mowing and driveway maintenance. The 3 ribs were tearing up the turf too much. You may notice that I went with well worn but good rear tires for the same reason. I do not like the look of turf tires and the worn rears retain the classic look while not damaging the turf as much as a new set would.

Don

I disagree with both of them. It looks super...use it and enjoy.

Had one of these. Would drive you broke to buy gas for it. Hotter then hell in the summer.

That one doesn't use gas.

WOW! Don, that sure looks great! I'm inclined to agree with Toro. Almost a shame to put that beauty back to work. Gives me some inspiration on my own 65 resto project.
