I started with this. An 8'-10" MF #25 disc. OK shape, but a little worn and a LOT rusted.

It was also too wide to haul. I got a bargain on it, so why not? First thing was to pull the axles, cut them down 7-1/2", then re-thread the ends. Then new disc blades for the front and the best of the old ones on the rear. Next, dismantle it, hit it with a sandblaster, prime, and paint.

I have always liked the looks of that series Massey. Your tractor and disk are beautiful. Have you considered contacting the people that are in charge of the Dupont Classic Tractor calender ? That outfit surely qualifies if you ask me ! Thanks for posting.

It ain't DuPont paint! OEM MF paint, I believe that's PPG.
