Who got way too much snow yesterday and today? Here in Ohio, we got about 10-12" with a LOT of wind! Had to get the old snow-pusher out and clear the lane. Ain't a Massey, but it's still RED!!

What part of Ohio are you in?

I live next to WPAFB and we got 16 inches and Mom, back on the farm got at least 20". Columbus set a new record this weekend for snowfall.

I'm in a town of 10,000 in Eastern Ontario. As of 7:00 a.m. nothing is plowed; nothing is moving. The Weather Channel says that the O.P.P. have switched to snowmobiles and are warning drivers to stay off the roads. The first image I saw on the screen was a fire crew evacuating the passengers (all unhurt) from a Greyhound bus on its side in a ditch.

It may be tricky to get to the farm to do the snow removal today.

So, Rod, whaddya do with all that damn snow? One thing about it here is, we might get a pretty good dumping (not like anything you guys get, I'm sure), and it might drift a bunch, but in a couple of days, it's usually all over but the final meltin'. Just glad I got my Farmall to clear the lane with!! What's the OPP?

O.P.P - Ontario Provincial Police

The snowbanks in my neighbourhood were over eight feet high before this snowfall. They're not much higher now, just wider. The next time the plows go through something will have to give or the stop signs will be buried.

On my way home today I saw a pair of workers high on a snowbank with shovels, trying to mine their way down to a buried fire hydrant. It looked as if they had about six feet to go.

And I'm complaining about 10-12". Now I'm ashamed of myself! Good luck with all that snow -- what do you do with it?

Where ya at, Joe? I'm just a few miles west of Dayton. Real flat here, so the snow drifts a lot because the wind really gets going here. Worst I had was a couple of years ago -- 4-5 foot drifts along my entire lane -- took four hours to clear, even with the H. Yesterday it took less than an hour.
