This auction is for a 4 foot x 6 foot Massey Ferguson Dealer sign that was manufactured in & is dated 1969 . This comes from the estate of a Dealer of MF Garden Tractors and Ski Whiz Snowmobiles from the late 1960"s "til late 1970"s . This sign was in its original cardboard box stored away in a trailer for all these years and was Never Hung.....Brought $1,675.oo on Ebay tonight.

Phil, Would you hang the sign inside or outside, if you had bought it? When I spotted the "Massey sign" on ebay, it certaainly brought back fond memories of our local dealer, especially of the days of a by-gone erea. Our farm had a (few) over the years. It's been about 30 years since owning Massey 1130, less than a month ago, I picked up a very nice Massey 98, completly restored.

If I paid that much for a sign in that condition I would probbably hang it inside,it will only depreciate if put outside now.It probbably brought that much because it is in new condition.

at nite...I think I'm going to check around with the family members who used to own our local Massey Dealership.
