Auxuillary hydraulic pump on MF 4840

I have a problem that I am looking for some help with. My father and I own a 4840 with no PTO and no 3 pt. We purchased a 34" Great Plains air seeder and need to do a little work on the old Massey. I"m no mechanic, but I"ll tell you what I know or what I think I know. The 4840 has an open center hydraulic system and it sounds like I need to put an auxuillary hydraulic pump on to operate the air seeder fan. I got a quote from Atom Jet industries on a complete kit for this model and it is $3,500 plus freight? Is there a cheaper option? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes the 4840 has a open hydrulic system and I would think that the tractor should have three auxilary hydraulic valves on it. The top valve in the stack of three should be able to run an hydraulic orbit motor. Am assuming the air seeder fan is run with an orbit motor. Other than maybe?,some hoses and couplers , I wouldn't think you should have to buy any thing else. Perhaps I am missing something in this situation!
