Aftermarket and/or replacement parts NEVER match originals. Or so I thought. I've been searching the world over for a right fender for a 150 Massey Ferguson. I "let one get away" on EBAY a couple months ago. It sold for $178 + freight, w/o the headlight bucket. Used were either outrageously expensive or wadded up worse than the one I was trying to replace.

Enter the good folks at Nolt Equipment in Newville Pennsylvania. He convinced me the aftermarket fenders he had were "dead ringers" for originals, right down to the correct gauge metal. He shipped them to me last week. They are currently sitting in the shop, paint drying as I type, and they are an EXACT match for original, headlight buckets included. For $150 each.

We hear about all the screw-ups, bad parts, and rip-offs, but we never hear enough about the success stories regarding finding parts for these old tractors.

I'm happy! No more bent fender. Now I have to convince myself to change it. My father, who's been gone 8 years, bent the old one when he backed into a fence post 25 years ago. Sort of a badge of honor.

You have done a great job with the 150.
One question--
Can I send my 165 to you to make it look that good?

And if you could pay for it also. LOL

Hi Do you think they would do the fenders for an 1130 or 1150 open station? If so could you please give me the conatct details.
Thanks
Bill

glad it worked out for you. I too have bought parts from Nolts before. They sure know older MFs and Fergies.

Those are really looking good. That same company practically overnited a replacement head for my MF-150. I just got my MF-150, 1968, Gas, back from the shop where THEY did the total engine overhaul. Now its up to me to do the rest of the tweaking. I can't tell for sure -- you sprayed yours, right? I like the stands you built for the job. I just pulled my fenders to move the wide set wheels further inward, and start the cleaning process. How'd you get on the inside of the fenders? Two settings? I've just ordered the silver and gray paint from this site. Thinking I'd get my MF Red at the local TSC. ((I'd tried to upload a foto of "old smokie" from my worksite, but worksite security software keeps it on this side of the fence))

I painted the insides with the fender laying down. Then VERY VERY carefully, turned them up on the bottom edge to paint the face side.

Sprayed with Sharpe HVLP gun, MF OEM enamel, just a touch of Valspar hardener, PPG reducer, and very little experience.

That's AGCO/MF enamel, Rouge Red. OEM Massey paint. I try to use only OEM parts when possible. That's why it took so long to conceide to using aftermarket fenders.

Here's the fender that needed help. You may be able to see a series of creases, dents, and rips all along the back 4". The more I worked on it, the worse it got.

New fender time.
