My massey 65 is running bad. Sort of sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders. My question is 9before I take the carb apart0 I noticed some gas or oil comming out of the manifold where the pipe from the carb meets the manifold. Could this cause the problem if there is a leak in the manifold? Timing is good and I'm getting good spark. Noticed a LOT of sediment in the bowl but I have a inline filter too so shouldn't be a problem there. Thanks for any input and suggestions. Tom

sounds like it might be sucking air. take a can of ether or carb. cleaner and spray a little around where the moisture is and if the engine speeds up, you have a leak. also, you could have flooding issues possibly due to a carb. float out of adjustment or a needle valve not seating properly.
