I don"t know why you need a "new" engine but they don"t exist. They don"t make these old Continental"s any more.

The Z129 Continentals are easy to rebuild UNLESS they have a cracked block. A remanufactured short block costs ~$1500-1750 (and it will usually have a furnace braze repair for cracks like mine does) and reworking a head is a ~$200-400. If you do the work your self and DON"T REQUIRE any special machining, you can get by for about half of those numbers.

You can go on ebay and look for an engine. They are occasionally found there. More than likely you"ll find a block and that will cost ~ $400-500. Finally, you maybe can buy a parts tractor with a rebuildable or running engine.
