The last thing I have to do on my MF 65 restoration is new front rims and tires. I'm undecided on the rim colour. Solid red or two tone. My original brochure shows solid red but I've seen a lot with the two tone red and grey. Mine had two tone when I purchased it. Does anyone know if the two tone was actually available from the factory on the MF65.

Here's where I'm at right now. The weather was pretty nice so I took it outside for some pictures.

You get a nice two color look because the hub and nuts are silver. Nice contract to the solid red wheel.

The front wheels were all red from the factory, have been a Massey dealer since 1951

I believe they were supposed to be all red, but... Mine are two tone. Not right, but it looks good. The alternator and the VDO gauges aren"t stock either, but they sure work good!

Just my $0,000.02

I can vaguely remember 65's as new tractors. I don't recall ever seeing one with red/silver rims until someone painted them that way. All the old sales literature I have shows solid red also.
