I recently bought a 1962 MF35 deisel would like to know which manuals I need to be able to read and learn all I can about this tractor. I have looked on several sights ,but am confused as to which ones to purchase as far operation and service for this particular tractor is concerned. Some have 155 pages others have 350 pages Is it worth the money for the extra pages or are they covering some other tractor that I dont need. Also, where is the best place to find replacement fuel, oil filters, and what kind do I need. I have an MF-14 shop manual but it does not go into very much detail on most of these matters. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

An owners manual is a must. An I&T shop manual, is very helpful too. If you are really lucky, you might find an original dealer's copy of a parts book for your 35. As far as filters, I use Baldwin filters for everything on my tractors. I have found them to be the best quality for price. www.baldwinfilter.com Their web site can cross just about any filter.
