How much horse power does a 50 have and was live power a option or standard? Are these good tractors, I am going to look at one this weekend.

Any info appreciated.

The gas ones had about 32 PTO hp, the diesels a couple more. Drawbar hp came in about 26 or 28. Somebody else may be able to lead you to the exact Nebraska test numbers.

Some of them had dual disc clutches for live PTO. Our gas MH 50 does. Some just had single discs. Start the thing up and push the clutch halfway down. The PTO should still operate but the drive clutch should disengage if it's a dual disc unit.

We've always liked ours for a lighter utility tractor. It's small enough to trailer on a car hauler and yet has guts enough to handle a baler.

They can sometimes stick in gear but there have been numerous posts on this board discussing how to deal with it. Not a biggie.
