this will be my first MH that i will rebuild and i was wondering if there was any tricks to doin it right. or any thing that i need to watch out for. i think that they have wet sleeves with the older ones being 3 7/8" and the newer ones being 4" is it possible to switch to the 4" if you have the 3 7/8"? and does anyone make performance parts for them? thanks.

You can use the 4" kit in the 260 block without any problems. There is also a company that I saw in my web surfings that offers a 4 1/4" kit. That would be the one I would recomend if it is inline on the price. There doesn't seem to be too many people out there making performance parts for Massey's. Although, there is a lot you can do with stock commponents.
