Can anyone help me locate a set of brake shoes and a drum for my 44 tractor. A part number or a place where a person could by them would be great help.

The lining kit# is 840 681 M91
The front or primary spring # is 1 001 965 M1, this is the smaller spring.
The back or secondary spring # is 1 001 966 M1,
this is the larger spring.
The top or shoe to shoe spring is 1 001 960 M1.
I used my old springs so I don't know if the springs are available. The bottom ones look special to me.
You need to get a manual if you plan on doing much to the tractor, at least you can see how the parts go together.

Do you know what the part # was or did you just have them look it up for a 44 Massey Harris. What about the springs. Can a fellow just use some kind of an automotive type spring??

I just bought a set of brake linings and riveted them to the old shoes. I bought the linings through an Agco dealer. No new shoes available. Someone had some used drums a few weeks ago on EBAY.
