Did Massey use a 4.108 Perkins? If they did, what tractors used the engine?

This may be a bit late but i have the MF25 with the 4-107, and have used 4-108 parts in them for rebuilds most interchange except the heads and blocks of the two engines have diifferent bolt locations to hold them down, and possibly a different number of head bolts: anything else inside is ok, also flywheel and bell housing adapters interchange.
The 4-108 is seen as a marine[ wet exhaust] engine or as a industrial powwer unit.
i don't have a listing of perkins numbers trusty to refer to, maybe a re-build shop can track down something for you, such as engine gasket kit fits models * * and *, or they will have the info off the piston and bores measurments?
hope it helped

I see on another disussion on this forum that the MF 811 Skid Loader has the 4.108 engine. I am not familar with the 811 Skid Loader. I have a crankshaft that I would like to sell but I am not sure what it was used in. The Perkins casting number does not appear to be valid with Perkins. The crankshaft gear number does indicate it was used in the 4.108 engine. This also came from Perkins. The person at Perkins really couldn't tell me all the equipment that used this engine but most were marine applications. He also said Perkins casting numbers are less than accurate. Thanks for your help.

The model 25 and 130 had the engine, but my parts
book calls it a 4.107 but I have always heard it
was the same engine. Also the Gehl 4600 and 4610
models had the 4.108. Someone may verify the 4.107 part. Chuck

I've wondered why the 25hp MF25/825 series and the 30hp MF30/130 series were (according to the books)supposed to have had the same 4.107 engine, was the bored out 4.108 upgrade the source of the extra 5hp ????? Expert advice please ?

Stand to be corrected, but believe some variants of the 20 & 30 series used the 4.108
