I am in Queensland Australia and have a Ferguson tractor that I need to get some parts fot the transmission. All the information that I can find is the serial no 1105676 and Engine no 6300. I was told that it was made in France.

Any chance of a picture ? Try scratching through the Registry numbers on this site see if anything looks familiar. I have a French 825 but the serial is nothing close. Some of the 25"s are not too far away ..... Chas

Thanks Chas Sorry I cannot get a picture as it is on my dads property which is 600km away. I found some info on a mf 30 that had a very similar serial & engine no. Also a transmission picture of a mf 130 that looks the same as this one. Someone else had a similar one in Tasmania(mf 30). I need to replace the groundspeed pto gear and shaft. Also the pto selector is worn off. I just need to be certian of parts before I try to get them in from overseas. Nobody here has info on this model?

After a bit of research, it looks like your tractor is a French built MF30 SNMY (Same as MF25 SNMY / MF 825 EFNY) Likely to be around 1964 vintage. A bunch of these were apparently exported to Aus in that era when UK imports were difficult. Reckoned to be a good little tractor - my 825 is a little toughie - though parts are somewhat difficult to get in your area. Regards...Chas

Hi Damien, I can e-mail you some tech data on the transmission system for the MF25 / MF 130 series if you think its relevant, it does cover the PTO shaft etc, might give you an idea if its the same thing that you are looking at, maybe you can get an idea before you spend money ! Its abt 7MB long not too much of a problem if you have a decent broadband. E-mail direct if it will help ..... Regards . Chas
