Kurt, do you still need this info? I have recently purchased a MF 711 and with it received excellent service/repair manuals for the engine, hydraulic system, hydrostatic system and a few others. No owners manual, however.

I'm looking for some info not in the manuals, particularly how much the rig weighs, what year it was manufactured (based on serial number) and where to get parts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you VERY much for the response. I had no concrete idea about the age (but guessed about 30 years) nor weight (assumed it to be over 5000# and very glad it's under, making legal transport easier). I will contact MinnPar; if they only sell through dealers, hopefully they can refer me to the closest one to this area.

How did you get this info? Is there a site or data base I can go to?

About five years ago I bought a 1963-built MF 35 tractor, and got a great deal of good advice from regulars on the MF Forum, even an offer of hands-on mechanical help and photos from others who had restored their tractors. Is there something similar for the skid steer? And am I correct that MF only made a few models of skid steer, unlike tractors?

Thanks very much again.

The 711 was built 1975-1977. A 711B was built
thru 1979. The weight with bucket is 4004 lbs.
The last I knew parts were avail from MinnPar
Inc. in Mpls. 612-379-0606. They may poss only
sell thru dealers?? Give them a call. Chuck
