My wife "inherited" her grandfathers TO35, which had a manure loader installed at the time of original purchase in 1959. This loader has recently been removed, and my question is if I can remove the double spool valve assembly and "return this tractor to normal" so we can use the hydralever as designed? If so, can I buy the plate to cover where the double spool valve is now installed? The owners manual indicates that the double spool valve does not have to be removed to operate the draft and postion control implements, but I'll be darn if I can get it to work. Any advice is appreciated.

I had the same problem with a 135 i bought. i wanted to save the valve but levers were broken off. You need a hy lift cover transfer plate. I believe that the plate is the same for To's 35's and 135'S I got one from a salvage yard for a couple of dollars. Dealers can probably get too. I think the part number is 180908M1 hyd cover cap. mark g. in michigan

Thanks Mark, When I take off the double spool valve assembly, does the hyd cover cap just bolt on, or is their some internal mechanism I have to remove as well? I also noticed that additional hydraulic fluid had to be added for the spool. I suppose this means I should drain some out if I remove it. Will the original hydraulics start working once this procedure is done, or do I have to make other adjustments? Finally, any suggestions where I might try to sell the loader and valve? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I read that you may have a front loader for sale. I am looking for one complete to put on my TO35. Tell me the condition of yours.
