Does any one know where you can get shoe kits, part # 840 682 M91 or lining kits, part # 840 681 M91? If these are unavailable does any one know the lining thickness?
Thank you!

DWF

A 44 Special uses disk brakes part number 840 916 M91.

I got mine at a MF dealer BUT they cost over $100 for both sides.

Dealers that were dealers before AGCO will or should have them in stock.OR I have had a couple sets done at a NAPA store that had a machine shop.

Can brake lining be softened and the reharden after natural drying? This would allow larger sized lining to be used on (off road) over sized drums.Would my thoughts allow thick(truck linings) to be used on odd sized drums.I know this has nothing to do with the posting.Does anyone know a site that would give the specs for what I have in mind?
