HEY GUYS ! I NEED TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT TYPE OF OIL I NEED TO PUT IN MY HYD. SYSTEM FOR MY FE-35 MASSEY. I HAD TO PUT A NEW AXLE SEALS IN IT AND I DRAINED ALL THE OIL OUT,IT LOOKED REAL DIRTY.THANKS !

Go to your local AGCO/MF dealer and get Permatran.

In my MF35 I use 80w90 GL1 type. I got it from a Shell oil dealer, it"s called Dentax.
Don"t use GL4 or GL5 oil because the extreme pressure additves will damage bronze and brass parts. I"m assuming the FE35 and MF35 are the same in this respect.

80/90 gear oil is what i put in mine works just fine

I believe the original is API GL-1 90W.

If you do a search in the archives, there is a NAPA part number for this fluid. You can also se some of the more modern fluids or 15W30 motor oil.
