Hello,

I've tried unsuccessfully to locate specific specs for a MF202 3 point hitch. Is anyone aware of the lift capacity of these hitches? Is it capable of 1000-1500lb lifts? I have a weight box on it now that weighs 500lbs that is lifted with little effort but want to make sure it has the power needed before purchasing a backhoe for it.

Thanks,

Justin

I've been told the MF 202 is basically the MF203 but with a gas engine. One of the old timers should be able to confirm this. I have an MF203 and can tell you that the capacity is high. I have an MF220 backhoe that has to wight 3500 pounds on it without a problem. The link below is a similair backhoe to what I have.

When I get home I'll see if I have the specs on the MF203

Thanks!

I have the exact backhoe attachment pictured
on the e-bay link. It attaches on the loader arms
with pins. The 3 point hitch doesn't have to lift it...I don't know the exact capacity of the hitch
but mine strugles at 1000 lbs.

Thank you for the insight, very helpful. Looks like I can pursue a backhoe in the 1200-1500 lb range without much problem.

Doesn't the backhoe have extra supports to keep the 3 pt. from moving? I think the tractor would lift the bale no problem as long as it had a loader or some extra weight on the front. Dave
