What size should I get? 5ft, 6ft, 7ft?

6ft will not go past the tires and a 7ft will overhang the tires about 3 inches on both sides. I think I would be happier with the 7ft because I have a ramp down to cross a town drainage ditch that time to time I will need to scrape the sides/corners (tires will not get in the way). But do not want to break any thing. I also have a 5ft loader and am constantly having traction problems, front is too heavy, even with loaded tires. The extra weight should help. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Get a 7 foot to cover tire tracks. A medium to heavy duty one would be best. The lighter cheap ones would bend up if you got caught on something. You won't hurt the tractor if you're careful, just like any other implement. The only problem is, if your loader runs off the 3 pt. hydraulics, the 3 pt. will creep down faster with the extra weight and have to be lifted back up every couple of minutes. Dave
