I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A GOOOOO D 150 HIGH CLEAR, DEISEL, P.S. FOR SOME TIME WITH NO SUCCESS. MY QUESTION IS CAN HIGH CLEAR PARTS, TALL FRONT KNEES---38"REAR WHEELS---LONGER LIFT ARMS & MTS.,BE FITTED TO LATER MODEL TRACTORS AS IN 240 OR 250. I KNOW THE STEERING IS DIFF. BUT CAN THE VERT.SPINDLES AND KNEES FROM THE 100 SERIES BE USED ON THE 200. MAYBE THE STEERING ARMS ON TOP OF VERTICAL SPINDLES COULD BE SWAPPED. I KNOW THIS IS CONFUSING, BUT THERE IS A MOTIVE TO THIS MADNESS.

hello poor when we discussed this before you told me about the gears. i can live with the increased speed. you are correct about 150 in short supply . a 50 would do if it was nice or a distant 2nd would be a 165, but is too big for the job. thanks for the response.

Most of the 150's in this neck of the woods are "standards" like mine. Kentucky and Tennessee are still Massey country. Always has been. You'll run on to an occasional high arch, but they're fairly rare. I had a chance 2 years ago to buy a Narrow front 150. I waited too long and someone else snagged it.

I've owned mine since it was new (1971 model) It's been repainted and spruced up, but it's mostly original, very little mechanically done over the years.

Yep! I'm quite proud of the ol' girl!

Maybe, maybe not. Not sure. But consider the over-all gearing. Take a low profile tractor with 28" rears and put 38"'s on it and you'll have a "too fast" tall tractor.

Not a lot of High Arch 150's to choose from.
