I can't get my BackHoe to run forward. Seems that the Hydrolic shuttle clutch or something is slipping. Backward is fine just doesn't go forward. Loking for a tip on what is broken or needs adjustments. Dirty Filter, Seal. A service Manual would be nice. Thanks for your time and help.

I say try what the other fellow suggested. If not you have to split the case and if your not someone who has done this sort of thing before go to the dealer those shuttle trans are awlful touchey. Just had mone overhauled a 50A B/L and while there in ther they recommended replacing the pump. On mine I lost reverse and they found the cluchpack sping came off and all the cluthes were shot!

Just got mine out of the shop to the tune of $2800.00 in repairs. Sounds like the shuttle linkage is worn or the clutch plates are burnt for forward. Try the linkage by hand. Another tip is to put in about 3 bottles of transmedic. This helped mine go an extra two years before the overhaul of the shuttle clutch.
