Hi Ian,
I only just found your note. I bought 2 year ago what was supposedly an MF 40, but not so , I am still trying to track down the Model, the closest I have come is a MF 205 Mk11, mine is around the late 1960's maybe 1969 - UK built sent to Australia , where I am. My serial number is AL832691 engine # 2376709?
it has counter weights on wheels. Not sure how to attach a photo? Did you firmly ID yours yet? Regards
John

I had a MF 30B. Truely an industrial tractor. Now have a Terex 640, another industrial. These are grading tractors used in construction more so than farming mostly because of their shuttle shift trans., gannons, and loaders. They do however do a very specific job that farm tractors can't. The Terex is a 70hp machine with 4wd on the fly and locking differentials.
