I just purchased a MF tractor with MF 50 originally painted on the cover. However, I have looked up its serial number, or what I think is the serial number, and it is not close to the listed S/Ns of MF 50s. On the left side name plate, it shows MF made by Continental Motors Corp, lots of patents then Z134 722866. Any ideas on the year of manufacture and where I can find manuals?

I also just purchased an MF50. You are looking at the engine serial #. The tractor serial # should be on a plate right on the instrument panel. You can get the original owners manual and service manual from your MF dealer for around $30.

that z 134 you saw is the engine model #, its a continental model z134. you'll need to tell the parts person this when you order any engine parts
