Hi, we have a massey 274 (blue massey) painted red but I think it is the lindini if that makes sense. Anyways...since the day we bought it the loader is sooooo slow...I think the pump sucks but not sure. Anyone else have these problems? Is it a massey 274 problem?? Anyways...any ideas how to make it work properly and faster?? Looking for a shop manual too.

It is actually a Landini, made in Italy, was part of Massey at the time. Early 274 and 184-4 had smaller pumps than later model 254, 274 & 294 series. I have a later model with bigger pump, works GREAT, you can mount a rear pump on upper PTO (under cover) if tractor is equipped with 2nd PTO drive gear. Not all are. Pump is very similar to those used on White Italian series (Fiat).

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if there is an upgrade for my pump? Or if the newer pumps would bolt on my tractor to replace the old one??
