My old MH 50 just just puked out a rod through the side of the block.. I think I can patch the block (although a new one would be nice). My machinist says that the crank can be ground. What I really need is a new connecting rod. The engine is a Z 134. Any help or leads will be appreciated.

Ron

Contact Montes equipt. Jerry Moons He purchased the old warehouse of Contential Engine parts. He is the largest supplier of NOS parts for the engines. He also extreamly nice.

Thanks so much to everyone who responded, especially Jeff-oh, I was able to order a rod from Montes and it is on the way. Now the real fun begins.

I just bought some parts for my Continental 162 from Liftline in Welland (Ontario)...they are a lift truck company but can get engine parts for Continental engines. Call their parts line at 905-788-0971, talk to Don.

Don't know about the 134 specifically but Don is an 'oldtimer', which means he can think outside of the question you are answering and get you what you need, rather than what you ask for.

Steve.
