I've got the G176 engine apart on my 165. The rod bearings are obviously already 20 thousands undersize since they are marked .020. I'm not sure about the main bearings because there is only 1 number on them - 6205B020N. Does this mean they are .020 undersize already or is it just coincidence that 020 happens to be in the bearing number?
Also, The journals are a bit rough - should I order bearings first and take them to the machinist when I take the crank in to have it turned, so they can cut the journals to fit the bearings?

Take the crankshaft to your your local auto machine shop and they will determine if it needs to be ground again or polished. They can get replacement bearings too. I think your mains are .020" undersize too. Hal
