I have a 1964 1100 massey, there is always pressure on the hydraulic hoses on the left side,(inside lever) I"m sure there is a check valve somewhere that is stuck but I don"t have a manual that goes into enough detail. Everything else works fine but after a few minutes there is enough pressure that it leaks out around the ball, and you have to shut the tractor off, wiggle the lever to equalize the pressure just to hook up hoses. done this about a year now, thanks.

OK need a bit more info, but I'll try my best. Is there pressure when you put the valve into float(lever all the way forward)? When the tractor is not running you can "dump" the hydraulic pressure on the remotes by pulling the small lever between the side console and right fender rearward. Either of these options work well to releeve pressure on the hydraulic hoses. If you have a cylinder that only wants to move in one direction and not back, you may have some internal problems with the valve. Again more info may be necessary to solve this problem.

it doesn"t have a float in the hydraulics. there is a clip in the front and back to hold the lever there but it is for continous flow for a orbit motor or what not. this is a 1964 model it didn"t have float.I put a 18 loop in the outlets and this relieves the pressure if I"m not using the hydraulics.
