I bought a Massey-Harris Pony a few days ago. I am not familiar with these tractors. Floor pans are lacking, with a 10 by 13 inch opening on each side where the drivers feet should rest. Did it come from the factory with these openings or has someone removed floor pans? What would be the purpose for the openings? Thanks, Dan

Dan - The Pony was used mostly for truck farms. They never had floor pans (at least I have not seen any, and mine don't have any) so the driver could see the rows when working the crop. Fun little tractor - enjoy.

Never came with floor pans. You rest your feet with your toes.

Mine doesn't have any. I don't see anything in the manual about them either. You need bigger shoes so they don't fall through.
