After running my JD 346 baler this weekend, I realized my Ford 3910 really isn't big enough to run it. My plan was to do all the raking, tedding and square baling with the 3910 and the mowing and tilling with the MF 175 that I've gotten into excellent shape. I'm thinking that since the 175 is a little small for my hay mower, I could sell the 3910, and use the 175 for all the 3910's duties and running the round baler. This long, drawn out story brings me to my question, what is a good, 80-90 pto hp Massey Ferguson. Not looking for anything new by any means. Something in the $6000-$8000 range, no cab, commonly comes with dual remotes and is around the size of a 175, if possible. What's your vote?

I have an MF 1105 I'm considering selling. 100 pto Hp tractor. Low hours, nice shape, good rubber, field ready. If interested, give me a holler. Andy [email protected]

I believe the 1085 would also be a good choice since I have one. I pull a vermeer 504
1 and cut with a 9 foot kuhn. I also have a MF175, but that will pull the same baler.

I am not sure if it is the best tractor or not but I use a MF1085(open station)to pull my NH 850 round baler as well as a Kuhn 9' disc mower and have had very good luck. Around here a MF of that size and age will run around $6,000 to $7,000 depending on the hours and shape.

Hope this helps,
