Wanting to change fan belt on a 165 and it has a Massey Ferguson 32 loader on it. Removed the bolts holding the hyd pump and the shaft won't pull out from the crank pulley is it threaded or a spline? Thank You any info will be very helpful.

Garry, It is a L.H. thread. It will be a struggle
unless you can use a tool from the dealer. I have
one made from an old pump shaft welded to a hex
head bolt. You will have to creative otherwise to
find something to fill the spline to turn out
counterclockwise. Good luck, Chuck

If it's splined you should be able to see some splines on the shaft right before it goes into the hub. Could be either or, so look for the splines. Otherwise try putting a good pipe wrench on the shaft and turn it the same direction the engine spins to loosen it.
