I'm in charge of selling some of the my Grandpa's collection of older tractors and farm equip. He has a MH Self propelled picker - 40 in rows, shedded, runs good from what I've seen. Also has a 44 Diesel WF restored but starter has bad fields. Here's my question - Whats the picker worth and where can I find a MH 44 Diesel starter and whats that tractor worth. I'd really like to see the picker go to someone who'd use it or restore it. Any help would be appreciated.

Where are you located? Picker is not worth a lot. Better to find someoned who will treasure it for what it is.Have had several on here that were scrapped out.No takers.Equipment like pickers and combines simply take too much shed room to store for most collectors to have any interest.

Starter should not be hard to find.Try locating a starter rebuilder close to you.Should be an Autolite starter and a new or used set of fields might be found if a complete starter can't be located. The value of the 44 is directly related to the quality of the restoration. Its really hard to put a value on it without at least a picture or two. What other MH equipment do you have to dispose of? Thanks, bob
