I recently took apart, blasted and repainted our MF35, with continental gas engine. We took lots of pictures and label everything. After re-assembling and trying to start the solenoid is clicking but the battery has a full charge. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or kno where we can get one? We are going to have to run through everything again. Or does anyone have any suggestion? Desperate in Wisconsin, Terry

One of mine just did that. needed new cable ends. Dont know if it applies to your problem but is worth checking. I just took my batt. off and put it back on after repairs and it just clicked. It was also fully charged.

To me it sounds like a major ground issue with the paint not letting things ground properly.

Also, what size battery cables do you have? The bigger the better. A small one for a car won't work as good as a nice thick 0/1 cable made by a dealer.

Send me an email address to send it to and tell me if it still has the generator or if it has been converterd to an alternator I have a drawing showing where the wires go.
