I have a MF 65 gas that has sat for a few months and now will not start. I have only driven this a few time so I am not sure of the starting precedure - I know the turn key one click if I go two I get lights? Open the fuel filter all the way to the left at the sediment bowl right? taken out of gear check... and crank.
It will crank but not start throttle all the way away from me is wide open? Oh Man I just want to get it started so I can sell it - it really ran great last time I ran it!!
I just feel like I am missing something. any help would be great
thanks
tom

Only open the fuel bowl 3 full turns not all the way. This shuts off the fuel and opens the reserve port which may be clogged.

Pull throttle 1/3 to 1/2 open

Turn key 1 or 2 positions does not matter

Pull choke open (you did not say this)

Verify that the Shift is in neutral and that the high low shifter is in neutral to close the starter safety switch.

Depress clutch and hit the starter button.

If it will not fire you will have to do some diagnostics

Jeff
