Guys I have a MF 135 1965 made in the USA that I need to replace some parts on and I'm new to this. How do you find out the part numbers for different parts. Do I look for a 1965 MF 135 owners manuel? I've kind of gotten in to this tractor restoration thing but I'm not a Mechanic by any means. I've already spent a bunch of money buying the wrong parts. Any help would be appreciated.

Call your local Massey Dealer. They can still get parts books. But shop around sometimes they are the bset deal, sometimes they are not. www.agco.com will start your search.

I've always just gone to a MF dealer and told them what I need. I usually try to take the old part. Have your serial number handy as sometimes part numbers can be different for different serial numbers. 135's are very popular and in my experience dealers are very familiar with them. Sometimes finding an older mechanic who has worked on them helps a lot. You have that on this forum with Big Dean and others. Dave

You need the owner's manual to know how to use all the tractor's options and for tune up details as well as lubrication.

You want a parts book for getting parts. Its a couple inches thick. I bought mine from MF at Racine more than 15 years ago. I don't know if that location is still in operation.

The parts book shows exploded views of assemblies which is very handy on getting them apart and back together.
